Kenneth Carvin

Kenneth Carvin, 20, of Carson City and a Nevada Division of Forestry firefighter, died July 5, 1976, after being injured in a helicopter crash that was helping transport firefighters to a large wildfire blaze in Northern Nevada. The pilot and one other were killed instantly, and three others, including Kenneth, were injured and transported to the hospital.

Kenneth was born in Carson City November 15, 1955 and was a 1973 graduate of Carson High School. He was a graduate of Denver Institute of Technology in drafting. He was active in baseball from little league through high school. He was survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Carvin and two brothers, Robert and Gary, all of Carson City; his grandmothers Mrs. Hazel Marin of Carson City and Mrs. Mary Carvin Russell of Grass Valley, CA.
